You want to know what’s dying and Google won’t tell you about?…..Websites….YUP, that main stay location we all have depended on for years is now no longer the best way to brand yourself or attract new business according to their data. You don’t even need a website anymore because ranking on google is not what you think it is but yet people are still plugging away trying to make old methods work for them.
If you are paying tons of money to try and be ranked on Google, then you fell into their trap because there is 2 ways now that you can build a brand online.
#1. Spend a ton of money each month on ads and rely on whatever results you get from that. (How much can you afford a month to spend just to compete?) What if you have limited funds to do this?
#2. You can drive traffic in several different ways to appeal to “active” users on the web in real time….but how do you even start that? (I’ll show you).
Did you know that in 2010 Google’s algorithm (Panda) was built to kill off any SEO and rankings from blogs?……but there is a way around it. Template based programs such as Investor carrot have tried to rebirth the blogging industry because they have a system that allows you to rank easy and it takes no work at all……YEAH RIGHT!
I personally know people who have made their Investor Carrot sites work for them but there was a catch. They were the only people in their area doing any type of marketing like this so they ranked pretty fast. Once competition moves in and you have more people in your area doing the same things as you are…..Who wins then?…Not You! because your ranking will be effected as soon as anyone starts using the same Keywords as you so how do you counter act that?
This is what people using Investor carrot are starting to figure out, they found out that this takes work actually to get ranked and stay ranked. I also know many people who have Investor carrot websites and they are not doing any business at all on them so whats going on here? Why is blogging being promoted so much even after Google said its not going to look at those for credible rankings anymore? I know people who rank on the first page of google and they are still not getting any deals done so no matter who you are, its not about being #1 on Google!
Can you still drive traffic with a blog? Yes you can but its limited unless you understand how to distribute your content to the right people and places and no one teaches that to you because most are not doing it themselves. Most Guru’s will only tell you about PAID forms of marketing, they will never teach you about content marketing because they themselves do not do it so why teach it?……well because its going to be the only thing that matters in the next few years so you might as well get good at it now!
Now that I have told you 2 really big secrets that most people don’t know about, do you want to know how to work around those problems and get people to notice you more anyway?
The issue is that people get way to caught up in their follower count and subscriber counts. That’s not what you should be aiming for. What you want is attention and it doesn’t have to be for a very long period of time either. The rules of SEO have changed completely. I sit back and I will watch other seminars and other peoples webinars to see what they are teaching.
Most people still think that back links are the way to go which is 100% false! Google killed of back linking a while ago and its impact on your ranking…..did you know that? Did you also know that you need actually engagement now to get ranked? that means you need comments and reviews for your content and you need people other than yourself passing along your content because that is seen as a favorable thing by Google and their people.
If a stranger or even a friend passes along your content, it shows Google that you have something of value worth passing on and so they take notice of that and monitor what it is you are getting attention on. This all ties into something called your “Affinity Score” which is your behind the scenes ranking according to Google.
Most all of them are not teaching the things that work right now, they are going off of old information and they only can sell those ideas to you because they themselves spend a ton of money on certain methods just to get a certain number that will convince people that it can work for them in the same way. Little do they tell you that they spend over $15k a month on google ad words and more but if they were smart they would know there is a much cheaper route that can bring you the same amount of traffic.
For me what I want is people who need answers to look me up. If some one has to sell their house and they are poking around online for answers, how do they find me out of all the people out there marketing for leads?
I just made some calls to home owners yesterday and one of those calls could be a deal and it came to me because someone read one of my blogs and thought it was compelling enough to call me. What you don’t know is that I put that blog in front of those people on purpose! Behind the scenes this is how I have been getting my wholesale deals for the last 2 years and no one is talking about this method because IT TAKES WORK!
Most people in real estate want to buy a program or system that does it all for you in terms of marketing for leads….sorry but those programs only can do so much because Google knows that you are using it so it becomes much harder to gain momentum in your business because you are simply relying on a program to bring you deals non stop. That method of (Set it and forget it) died years ago and I’m sure your Guru never told you huh?
You can still get leads from that tactic but not as many as you could 4-5 years ago when not many were doing the same method.
There is a lot more to this than just having a website or doing a blog everyday….a lot more! but I plan to show you all this stuff inside my Fall Accountability Class. The videos I will teach from will be private, they will not be for the general population (only students).
If you have a problem getting leads every month then this is a good class for you to be a part of. I don’t spend a ton of money on marketing because I understand how things work right now and you don’t have to open your wallet to get people’s attention online and its really too bad that most guru’s will not teach you this stuff because its based on effort and they don’t want to take the time to walk you through things when they themselves don’t know much about the new changes for Google.
You can target people directly with letters and postcards for your real estate business but that will only get you so far (as some of you have found out) so do you just keep throwing money at that method? or do you find ways to be more effective at reaching out to home owners or new clients? while still doing that?
The Fall Class is not for weak minded people who will use excuses as to why they can’t see any progress in their business, I had 4 people graduate from the Summer Class out of 15 and they were the only ones who never made excuses as to why they couldn’t do the work in the class each week.
Results come from consistency! and not from you trying to BUY your way to easier leads with Ad Words. Direct mail is a very low ROI and for those of you who are doing that method….what other methods are you relying on to offset your bad months of direct mailing people? SEO is not what you think it is anymore. It’s time to play the game by their new set of rules.
